After sufficient arm twisting, Kevin junked his 15 years of business and legal experience to jump into the restaurant industry. These cousins now work side-by-side to deliver the best dining experience in Northern Arizona.

Summer of 2010 brought us the Annex Cocktail Lounge. Located adjacent to the Tinderbox Kitchen, the Annex is our glorified “waiting room” masquerading as a stylish cocktail lounge. The Annex serves high-quality cocktails and top-notch “Bar Food” in a comfortable, fun and often loud atmosphere. Waiting for dinner or just walking by…stop in and let Eric, Jeremy and Jimmy serve you a classic cocktail and a snack.
What’s in a Name?
Historically, a “Tinderbox” was a metal box containing flint and steel used to strike a spark – a crucial element to cooking - and the dictionary defines a Tinderbox as a “potentially explosive place” – what’s more true of a restaurant? The “kitchen” is where all parties end up so Voila! The Tinderbox Kitchen.
